Did you know we collect items for the Sale all year long? Thanks to the generosity of Rochester Tech Park, who donates warehouse space to us, we are able to accept donations and store them until Sale time. If you have items you would like to donate, please call (585)442-5437 ext. 2100 and a volunteer will get in touch with you. For large donations, a pick-up may be possible. For smaller donations, we can set a time to meet you at our warehouse in Gates.

Donation Guidelines
All items should be clean and in good working order, something you might give to a friend. Please pack fragile items carefully. Be kind to our volunteers' backs by making sure boxes are not too heavy!
Examples of items that sell well for us are: antiques, collectibles, housewares, books in good condition, clothing, hardware, sporting goods, toys, small appliances, bikes, holiday decor, craft and hobby items and furniture.
For health and safety reasons, or due to lack of buyer demand, we regrettably cannot accept the following:
• Cookware with worn Teflon
• Chipped or cracked glass
• Any broken item
• Anything with water damage, mold or mildew
• Anything locked without a key
• Any liquids or anything with a gas motor
• Crib or infant car seat
• Food
• Major appliances (e.g. stove, washer, dryer, refrigerator, freezer)
• Large Entertainment Center
• Non-flat screen television or computer monitor
• Piano or organ
• Sofa bed, water bed, mattress or box spring
• Mini blinds, vertical shades or traverse rod
• Driveway basketball pole
• Older exercise equipment
• Tires
• Magazines, textbooks, Reader’s Digest, encyclopedias (dated material)
• Books dated, written on or torn
• Medical potty chair
• Cabinet with a built in stereo
• Heavy item located in a basement
• Printer, scanner, fax or electric typewriter
• Luggage without wheels
• Construction material new or used (discretion of trucking)
• Garden hose
• Stained/torn apparel, used underwear or socks, worn out footwear
All donors will receive a ticket to our Donor Pre-Sale at the 2012 Ronald's House Sale!
